Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z2800138A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 8 Jul 10, Defense DCN 20100623 and AFAC 2010-0420 20100420. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333512. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 3419. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3541. Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for (1) One Engraver with 52" x 25" full gantry table, 7" deep vacuum table top, servo motors and drivers, 1HP blower, Coherent 150 watt sealed CO2 laser, with focus assembly, focus adjustment, pressurized nozzle with regulator, laser monitor controller, UL certified single phase electical panel 230V, 60 Amp, KCAM cutting & engraving software, LPT/DSP controller, certified laser safety kit with laser safety eyeware. 2 day system training at factory, CorelIDRAW 14 (x4) software, Dell Pentium computer with 17" LCD Monitor, attached arm for monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Chiller for laser and metal etching head. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
