- Description
- The Veterans Health Administration at American Lake, Tacoma, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials and supervision in order to provide housekeeping services at the VA Alaska Healthcare Center (AVAHS), the Homeless Veterans Services Domiciliary (AVS), and the Northway Mall facility in Anchorage, AK. Services shall be in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) of the contract. The anticipated Period of Performance for these services is 01 October 2010 through 31 October 2010 with four (4) option years. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is VA260-10-RP-0991. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. TELEPHONIC REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov/. The estimated issue date is 13 August 2010, and the anticipated closing date is 17 September 2010 at 12:00:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Prospective offerors are urged to submit any questions they may have in writing to Mark Erickson at mark.erickson3@va.gov. Offers from all qualified, capable and responsible sources will be considered. Vendors offering a response to this notice should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.bpn.gov/ and in VetBiz at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ prior to submission of offers for consideration. Vendors who are not registered as SDVOSB vendors in these two registries are deemed not qualified to be considered for award of this contract and any offers they submit will not be considered.
