- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N4155710RC083FS is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The NAICS code is 334220 and the small business size standard is 750. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: Andersen AFB Security Forces has a requirement for the installation of brand new XTL5000 Mobile Radios (customer will provide equipment to be installed) with O5 Remote Control Head Police Package to a total of 23 vehicles: 2008 Ford Explorers (total 15 each) and Chevy Impalas (total 8 each). This requirement shall include the programming & testing of 23 each Motorola XTL5000 Mobile Radios on the Andersen AFB ASTRO25 7.2 Trunked Radio System. All removed equipment shall be turned over to AAFB Security Forces POC. • Install XTL5000 Mobile Radio with Remote Control Head and Trunk Side Mount Kit into Chevy Impalas. Vehicles are currently installed with existing light bar and equipment console which the new Motorola XTL5000 Mobile Radios with Remote Contrl and accessories will be connected to. • Test and verify the operations of all equipment installed. • Customer will be responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of all vehicles to vendor site; provide programming details for the XTL5000 Mobile Radios; provide the brand new Motoroal XTL5000 Mobile Radio and/or properly configured trunk mount radios with remote controls. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
