- The attached solictation should provide all the necessary information needed to provide a brand name or equal quote. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for EOD Combat Training Aids Manufactured by A-T Solutions or equal. This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance/expected delivery date is 30 Days ARO. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-10-T-0033 is issued as a request for components such as pressure plate devices, anti-mine roller devices, mosque clock, improvised rocket launcher and 5" rocket, ect. To make up an EOD combat training kit for deploying personnel. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 8331, business size of $7.1 Million and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 611699. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on 16 July 2010 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mil. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Proposals will be accepted up until COB 22 July 2010.
