Salient Characteristics: OPTICAL MAGNIFICATION 2.5x 4.5X FIELD OF VIEW 14.5 20 x17 MIN. FOCUS DISTANCE 25 METERS OBJECTIVE FOCAL LENGTH 54 108 MILLIMETERS EYE RELIEF -20.5MM EYEPIECE ADJUST +3 to -3 DIOPTER WEIGHT W/ BATTERY 800G 1340G Temperature Extremes. The product shall not be damaged nor suffer degradation of performance by continuous operation from -40C to +52C or after storage from -51C to +71C. Altitude. The product shall be capable of continuous operation from sea level to 20,000 feet pressure altitude and withstand a non-operating pressure altitude up to 50,000 feet at high and low temperatures without degradation of performance. Humidity. The product shall operate and not be damaged nor suffer degradation of performance after subjected to a relative humidity greater than 90 percent and temperatures ranging from +21C to -65C. Information/Requirements: 1. The PEQ-2 is an acceptable replacement for the PEQ-15s. 2. Helmets: currently ROU SOF uses a Romanian made Kevlar helmet that is compatible with US universal mounting brackets for PVS-7s and PVS-14s. 3. Figure of Merit must not exceed 1250 FoM, minimum for Tube Signal to noise Ratio of 19 and minimum Resolution of 57. 4. If you are a reseller/distributor you MUST disclose the manufacturer of the Tubes. 5. You MUST state delivery ARO of all HARDWARE. 6. If you are a reseller/distributor you MUST disclose the manufacturer of the Country of origin of ALL ITEMS listed. You must disclose WHO the contractor is that manufactures/produces tube housings and cases. 7. If you are a reseller/distributor you MUST disclose the manufacturer of the Country of origin of ALL ITEMS listed. You must disclose WHERE the contractor is that manufactures/produces tube housings and cases. 8. If you are a reseller/distributor you MUST provide certification that Night Vision Tubes are NOT Russian made. 9. For numbers 4-6 above, you MUST reference the case number on your formal solicitations. 10. Tube data sheets will be requested after contract award 11. There will be a potential call for an incoming inspection by DCMA to check tubes and tube housings 12. A quality system on tubes and tube housings will be requested after contract award.
