- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE REPLACEMENT AT RIVERSIDE NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-10-IB-0136 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the replacement of irrigation control valves in the Phase IV Development area of the cemetery. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. CONTRACT DURATION: The performance period is approximately 60 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS: 237110SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED (SDVOSB) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizzOpps at http://www.fedbizzops.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and statement of work will be released for issue on August 2, 2009. Deadline for answering questions will be close of business on August 18, 2010. Questions will have to be submitted in writing via email to robert.meyers4@va.gov and bryan.ramso@va.gov. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizzOpps.
