- This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract to Tyco/Scott Technologies, Inc, 4320 Goldmine Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. under aurhority of FAR 13.106-1(b).This award is to provide self-contained breathing apparatus parts. Parts are needed to upgrade existing SCBA's with PASS Devices. The anticipated amount is $30,022.56Reference NAICS Code 333411, M67001-10-Q-0264 Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all quotes received within 1 day after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotes sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to Contracting Department, Attn: Mary L. Williams, Bldg 1116, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST. Quotes submitted via facsimile will be sent to Mary Williams at (910)451-2332, and must clearly identify this notice on the first page. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that the quote reaches the designated Purchasing Agent on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. Quotes may also be submitted via electronic mail to mary.l.williams1@usmc.mil. The Quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile or electronic mail transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any quote was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other per FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 21 July 2010.
