- The United States Postal Service awarded a Design/Build Competitive GMP type contract for the Chicago, IL ISC Contract #512582-10-B-0008. The Chicago, IL ISC is located at 11600 West Irving Park Road Chicago, IL 60666-9998. The award is renovation efforts and mechanization efforts associated with the optimization of the Chicago International Service Center (ISC), Chicago-Irving Park Road P&DC (IPR), CHICAGO Mail Surface Hub-Busse Road (CMSH), and the Chicago Network Distribution Center (NDC). Total construction will be completed by December 3, 2010. The works consists of selective demolition and new construction. All work is noted on the plans and specifications issued by the Postal Service request for proposal. Subcontracting goals for this project are: Small Business 38.30%, Minority Business 4.10%, and Women Owned Business 7.50%. The contract was awarded to Clayco, Inc., 2199 Innerbelt Business Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63114. Note interested subcontractors and suppliers may contact Clayco, Inc. to express their interest.
