- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, WMEC Product Line, has a requirement for the inspection and potential overhaul of a Welin Lambie Dual Point Davit. The Coast Guard does not possess the technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing data, or special tools necessary to complete the overhaul for the Original Equipment Manufacturer's design. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM. All work must be in accordance with current OEM specifications, drawings, and standards. It is the Government's belief that only Welin Lambie has the capability to provide these services. However, other potential sources can submit information concerning their capabilities. This information shall include, but is not limited to: (1) Data that the offered services have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; and (2) A written letter, signed by the OEM, that verifies the offeror's capability to access OEM drawings, specifications, and special tools for the Welin Lambie Dual Point Davit. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. The above information must be received no later than five (5) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period shall not be considered.
