- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to solicit Hydronalix Inc on a sole source basis for a small unmanned surface craft. Hydronalix Inc currently manufactures small unmanned craft for research and rescue purposes using proprietary motor and propulsion technology. The unmanned surface craft specifications include a 65 inch lightweight - reinforced composite hull suitable for saltwater operation, High efficiency electric motor suitable for sustained operations (>3 hours) at high speed, miniature Jet Pump Propulsor with 80% efficiency or better and capability to record operational performance tests of the completed unmanned surface craft to characterize the performance in sea states less than one. The proposed contract is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The small unmanned surface craft will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. NAICS CODE: 336612
