Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS AWARDED THE ARCHITECT ENGINEERING SERVICES INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) MULLTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT NUMBER IBM09D0006 WITH TETRA TECH, INC., IBM09D0007 WITH MWH, AND IBM09D0008 WITH URS GROUP, INC. RECOVERY – The requirement is for a feasibility study and conceptual design at Paisano Phase II Reach, located in El Paso County, TX, Upper Rio Grande Flood Control System Rectification Project (URGFCSRP). The Paisano Phase II Reach begins at the American Dam and ends at the International Dam and needs to be upgraded to meet FEMA criteria. The contractor is to determine which required improvements for safe containment of the design flood flows; necessity of floodwall design(s); and environmental drilling and disposal technique requirements. The contractor shall, but not be limited to the following: 1) conduct geotechnical testing and analysis required to complete the conceptual levee design; 2) be responsible for researching and verifying agency right-of-way (ROW) or easement for each segment in order to determine location of improvements within the ROW or easement; and, 3) be responsible researching and verifying all existing above and below ground utilities and structures in order to determine if existing utilities/structures that are above and below ground may affect the location of the proposed works of the reach; 4) prepare conceptual designs for raising the top of levee elevation, proposed levees, existing levee rehabilitations, floodwalls, improvements to existing hydraulic structures, flood gates, and other improvements. In addition, the contractor shall prepare project schedule, attend/conduct meetings, prepare/submit monthly project updates, and prepare/submit draft/final minutes. THE RESULTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER MAY BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER THE SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED PRICE MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ A-E SERVICES CONTRACT(S) REFERENCED ABOVE.
