- USDA/ARS intends to make a sole source award to Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. with a two month period of performance, from 8/1/2010 - 9/30/2010. USDA/ARS requires facilities support services for the operations and maintenance of the South Atlantic Area (SAA) research facilities, including the Richard B. Russell Research Center and Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, GA and the U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory in Ft. Pierce, FL, for the duration of two months in order to finalize the new contract award and allow for a one month transition phase. The current contract for facilities support services expires on 7/31/2010. Since a period of performance of two months is an insufficient timeframe in which to transition a new contractor, FSE is uniquely qualified as the incumbent contractor to provide continuity of services to ARS. The anticipated award date is July 30, 2010.
