- THIS IS AN EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFP IS OPEN ONLY TO EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following work: The cold storage building located at the Jordan Field Station is approximately 25' W x 33' L x 24' H with a 4/12 pitch roof. The building includes (2) 12' x 12' doors, (1) walk in door and (2) small windows. The contractor shall supply all supplies and labor and is to use a combination of: Certaspray A and Certaspray B to seal the perimeter of the buildingR25 un-faced insulation rolls to cover the exterior walls3/4' strapping for exterior wallsWMP-VR-53' exterior wall finish (white)R25 un-faced insulation rolls to cover the ceilingHat channel for the ceilingWMP-VR-54' ceiling finish (white)All equipment needed to complete the job will be furnished by the contractorAny mileage, travel or miscellaneous expense will be included in the price LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITEa. The site of the building is at the Jordan Field Station of the Charles M. Russell NWR. Jordan is located in northeastern Montana, 84 miles northwest of Miles City at the junction of MT Highways 200 and 59.b. Prospective offerors may inspect the site by making arrangements with Nathan Hawkaluk at the Jordan Field Station of the Charles M. Russell NWR (406) 557-6145. The estimated magnitude of construction is under $30,000.00. The total performance period is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is an Emerging Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 16, 2010 with an anticipated closing date of August 13, 2010. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
