- This posting is to provide public notice of intent to exercise contract number VA-248-P-1161 for Emergency Planning Management Inc, 2 Live Oak Lane, Stafford VA 22554-7916. This announcement constitutes the only notice. (a) IAW FAR 52.243-1 Changes - Fixed Price, the following changes are made: add Bldg 500 (Orlando location) to the fire inspection, add monitoring, Fire Alarm Control Panel (TACP) and hood inspection to both Viera and Orlando sites. (b) IAW 52.217-8 Option to extend services, VA-248-P-1161, Option 1 period is from 1 Aug 2010 to 31 July 2011. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents related to this option exercise. A determination by the Government to exercise the aforementioned option clause and not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to exercise the option. Any responses to this notice must be submitted to Marie Smith at: marie.smith4@va.gov no later than March 22 by 4:30 pm Eastern Time.
