- Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, operations, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in its entirety. The existing toilet buildings at both sites are pre-1978 construction and may potentially contain lead-based paint. Disposal shall be at a site licensed to accept construction debris that may contain lead-based paint. Site #1-Whitetail Cabin: This project consists of removal and disposal of existing CMP vault and toilet building, and the furnishing, delivery and installation of one new precast concrete vault toilet; including excavation and site grading. A roof structure, including rough carpentry and asphalt shingles, is to be constructed onto the new toilet. Lap-board siding is to be installed on the toilet exterior. The exterior is to be prepared and painted white. In addition, the project involves the furnishing, hauling and placing of aggregate surfacing on pathways, roadway and parking areas. Disturbed areas are to be reseeded with specified seed mix. Site #2-Wickham Gulch: This project consists of removal and disposal of existing two CMP vaults and toilet buildings, and the furnishing, delivery and installation of one new precast concrete vault toilet; including excavation and site grading. In addition, the project involves the furnishing, hauling and placing of aggregate surfacing on pathways, roadway and parking areas. Disturbed areas are to be reseeded with specified seed mix. Additive Item #1-Roadway Surfacing: This project involves the furnishing, hauling and placing of aggregate surfacing on roadway accessing the Whitetail Cabin. Prior to placing aggregate, the roads shall be reconditioned and bladed free of ruts and potholes. Project Locations – Site #1-Whitetail Cabin is located approximately 20 miles east of Ashland, Montana, in Sec 19, T2S, R47E. Site #2-Wickham Gulch is located approximately 6 miles west of Camp Crook, South Dakota, in Sec 16, T19N, R62E. Project sites are approximately 75 road miles apart. Price Range – Between $25,000 and $100,000. Pre-bid Tour – No prebid tour is planned for this project. Start Work – It is estimated that work will begin in September 2008. Period of Performance – Work shall be completed by June 30, 2009.
