- RFP Synopsis - Golf Enterprise Solution (GES) The NAFI owns and operates an enterprise of golf course facilities at AF bases worldwide varying in size from 9 to 54 holes. The golf course manager overseas golf course operations to include: rounds of golf, pro-shop, cart fleet, driving range, equipment rental, food and beverage operations and lounges. The Air Force Services Agency (AFSVA) is seeking a best-in-breed, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Information Technology (IT) Golf Enterprise Solution (GES) to offer its golf operations throughout the world an improved level of business practices and reporting. Standardizing business practices will leverage the commercial sector's best practices with the intent to transform into more efficient operations and potential cost savings. The AFSVA also desires automated, centralized reporting to allow geographically dispersed golf facilities to automatically report financial and operational data. The optional integration efforts include XML data interchanges through our Informatica Data broker with the Internet Based Purchasing System (IBPS), Financial Management System (FMS), Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN), and SAIS/ORCA. Following extensive market research and analysis, the NAFI seeks a web-based, internet-accessed golf solution subscribed from an Application Service Provider. All responses should be submitted to AFNAF Purchasing Office, ATTN Ms. Helen Miller, and 10100 Reunion Place, Suite 304, San Antonio, TX 78216. All responses shall be received no later than 24 September 2010, 4:30 P.M., Central Time Zone. All questions concerning this RFP need to be submitted by 9 August by email or fax and the response will be posted on our website 10 days after receipts of questions. NOTE: REFERENCES AS OUTLINED IN SECTION L, PARA. 20.7 ARE DUE BY 3 SEP. This is a Nonappropriated Fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation of military community programs.
