Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to procure one (1) Pfaff Model 3590 Industrial Large Field Sewing Unit. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Pfaff Industrial of America Inc., 2200 Norcross Pkwy #280A, Norcross, GA 30071-3670. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of this item, the designer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all responses received within 10 days after the date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
