- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA, intends to award a contract for 'Rental of Specialty Beds' to include Low Air Loss Mattress, Bed with Scale with Air Mattress, Bariatric Bed with Scale, Heavy Duty Low Air Loss Mattress, Rotating Air Mattress, Air Fluidized Bed, Bedside Commode, Stretcher Chair, and Bariatric Walker. A single award will be made to include all line items. The solicitation is to be issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside with offers from only small businesses sources being considered. The small business size standard under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 446199 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Quote (RFQ). Anticipated issue date is July 27, 2010 and anticipated date for receipt of offer is August 10, 2010. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation.
