- Synopsis Title: Install Epoxy Floor System at Bldg 950 Project #: MPYJ 10-1052 Project Magnitude: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Period of Performance: 77 Calendar days Note: The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 02 August 2010 at http://www.fbo.gov PROJECT SCOPE: The contractor shall provide complete detailed plans and specifications and all labor, materials and equipment required for the construction of a complete and fully functional facility renovation. All work shall be in conformance with the drawings and specifications including the furnishing of all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, and services necessary and incidental thereto. The work required to be performed by the Contractor shall result in a complete and fully functioning facility DESCRIPTION OF WORK Install a Resinous Flooring System to approximately 24,788 sq ft of floor space in Bldg. 950. Installation method will include mechanically preparing all accessible areas with the use of a blast trac and diamond grinder to remove paint and other materials that would prevent the finished product from performing as intended. All work will be accomplished in accordance with industry standards, and product application procedures. Entry ways will be filled in with 5/8 fill prior to flooring application. The contractor shall coordinate all phases of work with CE and 342TRS/CWF (Range Control 671-2349). Hallways, Armory and Main Assembly Area will require a slip resistance Index of 0.66(wet). Rooms 100,101,105,200A, 200B, 211, 208, 210, 211, and 211A. Classrooms Rooms will require a slip resistance Index of 0.93(wet) Rooms 201A,201B,207A,207B,202,203,204,205,206,215,214,213,212B,212A,209,209A,209B,209C,209D,209E,209F, AND 209G. Install Stonhard or equivalent floor system on 24,788 sq ft of floor within building 950 (Medina Training Annex) in accordance with industry standards and product application. Apply a two-component epoxy primer, apply 1/4" layer of a three part epoxy mortar coat, and apply one coat of stonkote or equivalent two-part 100% solid epoxy. Classrooms: 201A, 201B, 202, 203,205,207B,212A, 212B, 213, and instructor break room (shooter shack) will be stonshield HRI medium texture Glacier & CF7 or equivalent. All four (4) entry ways, Great Hall, Corridors and Armory will be stonclade GS/GS4/GS6 Pewter w/texture #2 Or equivalent.
