Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to design and install energy and access improvements at the Lowell National Historical Park Maintenance Shop located at 220 Aiken Street, Lowell, MA. The project includes, but is not limited to: modifications required to provide a handicapped accessible ramp to the front door of the shop and a new step a the rear door; add new insulation to the side walls, cover the insulation with a new exterior facing, and install new exterior commercial grade doors and double glazed replacement windows; and remove the existing roofing and install a new green roof system on the newest section of the shop roof including a rainwater collection and pumping system. This is a National Park Service project awarded and administered by USFWS. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO IDIQ HOLDERS AWARDED AS RESULT OF SOLICITATION 982109R207 MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) ON THE EASTERN HALF OF THE UNITED STATES. The three companies who will be competing for this project are Perini Management Services, Inc., MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc.and BlueScope Construction, Inc. Full and open solicitation 982109R207 is a two step acquisition under FAR 36.3 and FAR Part 15 and awarded on December 10, 2009.
