- **** 7/16/10 - Amendment A002 revises the bid opening date to 7/30/10 at 2 pm. See attached amendment A002 for details. ***** 5/17/2010 - BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. ***** OR FS ARRA FDR 33(4), Agness Road Reconstruction Phase 2, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, Curry County, Oregon. This project consists of 33.84 Miles of grading, drainage improvements, base, paving, mechanically stabilized walls, deep trench drains, subgrade stabilization, bridge railing rehabilitation and other small items of work. See "Description of Work" for additional details. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project will include 3 bid schedules. There will be three alternate schedules. Only one schedule will be awarded. Work shall be completed by October 30, 2011. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $5 million and $7 million. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. The Maximum line of credit is $750,000. The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate. For more information see: http://osdbuweb.dot.gov/financial/index.cfm.
