Description
**** 7/16/10 - NOTICE. When this project was initially posted we had a estimated bid opening date of August 5, 2010. However, this project came through early and the actual bid opening date is July 20, 2010. The FBO system does not allow us to revise the data from our intial posting. See the Banner above, which warns you that data has been updated: "Note:There have been modifications to this notice. You are currently viewing the original synopsis. To view the most recent modification/amendment, click here " When you click "here" in the banner, it will take you to the most current info and the response date shows July 20, 2010. **** OR PFH 47(1), North Umpqua Highway, Umpqua National Forest, Douglas County, Oregon. This project consists of 14.29 Miles of grading, drainage, base, paving, mechanically stabilized walls, bridge railing rehabilitation, permanent traffic control devices and other small items of work. See "Description of Work" for additional details. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS This project is being advertised with an Economic Price Adjustment specification. Work shall be completed by September 15, 2012. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $15 million and $20 million. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
