- The purpose of this synoposis is to alert for a forthcoming requirement for Bioenvironmental Engineer / Industrial Hygienist service, full-time - requiring access to Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan and various locations. A solicitation will be issued after the pre-solicitation / synopsis closing date. 18 AMDS is seeking detailed occupational health risk assessment at Kadena AB, Japan, with emphasis on BioEnvironmental (BE) Engineering / Industrial Hygiene and special surveillance programs. Contractors shall perform and manage various BE tasks, to include performing occupational health risk assessment surveys, managing equipment operations and maintenance schedule, track upgrade and specific training requirements for BE personnel, and ship water samples to laboratory for analysis. Contractors shall enter all bioenvironmental engineering tasks and survey data in the Defense Occupational and Environmental Readiness System.
