- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Cobra Systems of Arlington Heights, IL 60005 for an acquisition supporting the KC-130J aircraft. The acquisition will be for two (2) Pitot Accessory Kits, P/N AK130J-323. The test set is equipped with a Pitot and Dual Static Probe. The kit contains the required equipment to test the pitot and static air data system on the KC-130J aircraft, as well as the means of pre-testing all adapters and hose prior to being applied to the aircraft. The Test Adapter is used to check the integrity of the pitot and dual static adapter, hose assemblies, and the pneumatic generator. Two (2) sets of Hose Assemblies are attached to the static fittings and pitot inlet. The equipment is enclosed in a case assembly. This procurement is for new items. Refurbished items will not be considered. The standard original equipment manufacturer warranty is required. The Government does not own the rights to current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
