- DESCRIPTIONElevator Service (Maintenance and Inspection): NAICS 333921 This is a pre-solicitation notice only.The National Park Service is seeking proposals for Elevator Service, Maintenance and Inspection, for Zion National Park. The period of performance will be one base year with four option years for a five year contract to begin October 1, 2010. The base year period of performance is October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. Annual renewal of the contract is dependent upon FAR 52.232.18 Availability of Funds Clause. OPTION RENEWAL SHALL BE DEPENDENT UPON SATISFACTORY QUALITY OF CONTRACTOR PERFORMANCE AND FUNDING AVAILABILITY. Only one contract will be awarded. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Contract estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. The successful contractor shall provide qualified personnel, labor, equipment and tools to perform inspections and preventive elevator maintenance for two elevators. The contractor shall also provide any other materials, supplies, parts, and other items necessary to perform the work described in the solicitation. The scope of work for this contract requires the contractor to provide equipment and labor to perform required inspections and preventive elevator maintenance, and respond to service calls as required. The contractor shall maintain elevator, equipment, appurtenances and accessories so as to comply with the requirements of the latest edition of American Standard Safety Code for two elevators located in the Administration Building at Zion National Park. One elevator is a Carson electro-hydraulic Bner Unit, Model PU-9030, CAR 6401, capacity 1400 lb, installed in 2009. The other elevator is a US Elevator Micro Hydro, Model MP 1230. It was installed in 1990, capacity 3500 lb. The location of Zion National Park is approximately 43 miles East of St. George, Utah. The NAICS Code for this project is 333921 with a size standard of 500 people. Evaluation Criteria is the Offeror's responsibility. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure completeness of their proposal. The evaluation panel for the Government may evaluate solely on information provided in the proposal and will not assume that an offeror possesses any capability unless specified in the proposal. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 30, 2010. In order to download the solicitation, interested vendors must register at http://ideasnec.nbc.gov. It is mandatory that all contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy until the due date and time specified in the Solicitation, with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
