- Answer to questions about this solicitation: Question: Condition B says that each camera shall be able to be controlled with a keyboard with Joystick, but Operation Conditions F and G. call for a fixed camera. Can you please provide clarification of this requirement? Answer: The two camera styles we want are PTZ(pan, tilt, and zoom), and Fixed cameras with zoom capabilities. All shall manipulated through keyboard and joystick. Fixed Cameras, meaning they do not pan or tilt. Question: Where is the contact in formation for the Small Business liason Office? Answer: We have a Represenative that that operates as out SBLO. You must contact Jennifer Mitchell, 510-437-3727 or email Jennifer.A.Mitchell@uscg.mil. Question:Are there surge suppression (lightning protection) requirements concerning the subject solicitation? Answer: There will not be a requirement for surge protection, each camera shall have its own back up battery in case of power failure. Please see new SOW with amended section, 3.01-D. Question: Will there be a formal site visit fo rthis project? Answer: No, you are required to call the COTR, EM3 Bryan Kees. You may schedule a site visit with him.
