- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, W91243-10-T-0021, is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. This is a small business set-aside referencing NAICS code 327390 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following item. Item 0001, 205 each concrete Jersey barriers. Shape standard Jersey barrier. Dimensions - 24 wide at base x 6 wide at top x 10 long x 32 high. Barriers shall be reinforced with steel. Barriers will have beveled forklift slots in base of the wall allowing relocation. Flat sides needed on ends, no J-hooks or rods required. FOB Destination to Lincoln NE, zip code 68524. Freight will include boom trucks to unload. Freight and unloading will be included in each price. Quote the earliest possible delivery date. Evaluation factors: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror based on price and delivery date. The Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this RFQ and price and delivery are the specific evaluation criteria. All offerors will complete a copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer. Offers are due 29 July 2010 no later than 1:00 p.m. CSDT at the USPFO for Nebraska, 1234 Military Rd, Lincoln NE 68508. Offers may be mailed, faxed to 402-309-7549 or emailed to randall.l.hansen@us.army.mil. Prospective vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov, to be considered. All responsible quotes will be considered.
