- Description
- NASA/JSC has a requirement for services to be provided for all necessary personnel,materials, and appropriate facilities for the General Management Program. NASA/JSC intends to purchase the service from Harvard Business School.A market reserchwas conducted with comparable executive education programs at other schools, and HarvardBusiness School's General Management Program was the only course with the depth ofcoverage that meets the needs of NASA Johnson Space Center. The General ManagementPrograms helps participants to master new skills, explore diverse perspectives, anddevelop new leadership styles, transforming them into outstanding leaders with judgement,confidence, and skills to lead their organizations in our current environment.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon July 20, 2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
