- This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-10-T-0248 http://www.navsea.navy.mil/nswc/crane/working/contracting is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. This purposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Wayne Kerr Electronics Inc., 165L New Boston St., Woburn, MA. 01801-6201 and Distributors in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001: 01 EA, Magnetic Analyzer (20 Hz-3MHz), P/N: F1J3260BCLIN 0002: 01 EA, OPTION "N", P/N: NCLIN 0003: 01 EA, 25A DC BIAS UNIT P/N: F1J3265BQCLIN 0004: 01 EA, BNC-4 TERM COMPONENT FIXTURE>500KHzP/N: F1EV1006CLIN 0005: 01 EA, 4 TERMINAL LEAD KIT P/N: F1EV1505CLIN 0006: 02 EA, KELVIN LEAD (FINE JAW) P/N: F1EVA40100CLIN 0007: 01 EA, SMD TWEEZERS P/N: F1EVA40120CLIN 0008: 02 EA, KELVIN LEADS (LARGE JAW) P/N: F1EVA40180CLIN 0009: 01 EA, RACK MOUNT KITP/N: F1EXA20230CLIN 0010: 01 EA, FISTURE PLUS S/C & O/C CARRIER P/N: F1J1009 Delivery is required FOB NSWC Crane, IN 47522 within 3 weeks after award of order. Final inspection and acceptance will be destination. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sales warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
