Foreign Military Sales (FMS) 3.PR# FD2030-10-71778 4.Nomenclature/Noun: HYDRAULIC SERVOVALVE 5.NSN: 4810-01-439-3481PR 6.PN: 1886-622 7.Application (Engine )F110 8.AMC: 3R 9.History: Previously purchased 4 each from Woodward HRT per contract#SPRTA1-M-C-0031, 8 January 2010. 10.Description: The Servo-valve is an integrated part of the main engine control (MEC).The MEC regulates fuel flow and V5V position on the engine. TheServo-valve is regulates fuel flow and controls pressure based uponelectrical input. 11.Dimensions: 2.0 inches long X 2.5 inches wide. 12.Material: Aluminum 13.Quantity: a.Award of a Firm Fix Price contract is anticipated with aquantity of 8 each. 14.Qualified Source: Woodward Governor Company (66503) The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed topurchase from additional sources. Drawing 1886-622 is not available inthe Air Force files. 15.Mandatory Language: Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Only writtenor faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable.Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), Justification: supplies (orServices) required are available from only or a limited number ofresponsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services willsatisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is forsupplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit andnegotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under theauthority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will identify the office whereadditional information can be obtained concerning qualificationsrequirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: AnOmbudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potentialOfferors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Thepurpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the programdirector or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns,issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate governmentpersonnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does notparticipate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selectionprocess.
