- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY : The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) awarded 5 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts under the Prevention Care Management Technical Assistance Center (PCM-TAC) solicitation. The successful offerors for these contract awards were, HHSA-290-2010-00005I, American Institute for Research (A.I.R); HHSA-290-2010-00004I, Abt Associates; HHSA-290-2010-00001I, Booz Allen Hamilton; HHSA-290-2010-00003I, Research Triangle Institute (RTI); and HHSA-290-2010-00002I, Westat. These contracts were awarded to support AHRQ’s Prevention/Care Management Portfolio in its work to build evidence and facilitate improvements in primary care, clinical preventive services, and care of chronic conditions related to: 1) clinical decision making; and 2) the application of primary care transformation principles, including care coordination, patient activation/self management support, the integration of health information technology in support of the goals of the Portfolio, and linkages between clinical practices and community-based/public health interventions for prevention and care of chronic conditions. This project was competed on a cost reimbursement basis. There are many uncertainties involved in contract performance that do not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use a fixed-price contract.
