- Description
- The 647th Contracting Squadron has a requirement to provide base Transient Alert Services to Hickam AFB HI. The written solicitation will be issued on or about 28 July 2010. However, this date is an estimate and subject to change without notice and there is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award as a result of this synopsis. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial, firm fixed price (FFP) type contract with a base performance period of one year (12 months) and will include four, one-year option periods. This requirement is a competitive 8(a) Set Aside, this requirement will be limited only to eligable 8(a) concerns. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 488190 and the related size standard is $7 million. The contractor shall perform aircraft transient maintenance services at Hickam AFB, Hi, to include but are not limited to aircraft movement, aircraft operations, concurrent servicing operations, safety management, special events support, emergency and exercise support, order and turn in of parts from the Air Force Supply system, requested vehicle excorts, anad management of publications and forms. IAW the Statement of Work. The contract shall consist of a basic year plus (4) option years (Note: The description is a summary of the required services and is not intended to be all-inclusive): No further advertisement will be made prior to posting the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
