- The project consists of work necessary for, and incidental to, construction of a permanent railroad closure structure. Work shall include, but is not limited to, clearing, excavation, backfill, construction of a new railroad closure structure consisting of sheet pile, concrete, and reinforcing, tie-in to existing flood protection levee, fabrication of aluminum bulkheads, and other work necessary to complete the project. Work shall include coordination with the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Place of Performance Des Moines, Iowa - Polk County Completion - 120 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed The estimated price range of the project is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5 MILLION. The solicitation documents will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about July 20, 2010.
