- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote F6T6CC0165AG03. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44 and the Defense Federal Acquisition. Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20100623. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 337214 and the size standard is 500 employees. It is the contractors responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This solicitation is set aside for small business. VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 1. Do you want delivery and install? We do want delivery, but will assemble and install the furniture. 2. Is there a loading dock available during delivery? Yes, we have a regular loading dock. 3. Which door(s) is the furniture to be delivered through...single set, double doors? The furniture will be delivered thru a warehouse size door, 12 wide by 12 ft high. 4. Do you want for us (the vendor) to remove the packing materials? Mo 5. Is there a dumpster available for removal of packing materials? Yes 6. Are the floors carpeted and, if not, what material is the flooring? Yes, the floors are carpeted 7. Will a POC be available during delivery and install? Yes, a POC will be available during delivery 8. What are the days and hours available for delivery and install? The items can be delivered Mon Thurs, 0700 1530. 9. May we deliver over a two consecutive day period if needed? Yes 10. If more than one floor, is there an elevator available during Our building delivery? Our building is only one floor 11. Are there any stairs involved and, if so, exactly how many? No 12. How many offices is the furniture to be placed in (small purchase) or provide floor plan if magnitude of requirement justifies this. We just want the furniture deliverd to one location 13.
