- Solicitation Amendment Portable Air Conditioner (spot cooler) 48L x 22.5W, 42,000 BTU, 230V/40 Amp The equipment specifications have been changed. Please review the following information: The government requires two Portable Air Conditioner Units to vent fumes, cool, or heat as needed the enclosed spaces of an aircraft while under maintenance. The portable air conditioning units must meet the following government requirements: Must be a completely self contained and portable unit, 42,000 BTU/hr for cooling, 40,000 BTU/hr for heating, no larger than 48L x 22.5W, and must support a minimum 12 inch diameter duct(s) in excess of 40 foot length, must be UL listed for outdoor use, 1400 CFM, 230V/26 Amps/ 1 Phase, must have a 50 foot (minimum) power cord, must be equipped with onboard condensate removal system, and a manufacturer warranty. To be eligible for consideration, interested parties must return by email, the attached document signed by an authorized individual on Page 1 and the vendor quote written in on Page 2. The response time is short due to the immediate need for air conditioning equipment.
