- Statement of Work Request for Quote form and Clauses This publication serves as notice of intent to procure supplies for the Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in San Diego, CA. The government intends to acquire supplies using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Proposed vendor will provide and install new cabinets at the National Weather Service office located in San Diego, CA, per the attachments and description included in this combined synopsis/solicitation. The government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance that will begin 5 working days after date of award of the Purchase Order, and will be completed 30 working days from the start date. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be in writing on the attached Request for Quote form and may be faxed attention to Tina Mace at 801-524-5246 or email at Tina.Mace@noaa.gov. Questions concerning this acquisition must be directed to Tina Mace by email at Tina.Mace@noaa.gov OR Jen Brown at Jen.Brown@noaa.gov. This is a small business set aside, purchase action estimated value not to exceed $100,000.00. ***The National Weather Service requires that all contractors doing business with the National Weather Service be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date NO award can be made unless the vendor ID is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. A Dun & Bradstreet number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet on-line at www.dnb.com/eupdate or by phone at 800-333-0505. All contractors are also required to complete online Representations and Certifications at http://ORCA.BPN.GOV.
