- Professional Services for Environmental Review for a Proposed Industrial Park, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan NOTICE: Only local sources will be considered under this solicitation. Local sources are sources (e.g., corporations or partnerships) that are physically located in Japan and authorized (i.e., licensed and registered) to perform in Japan, the type of work specified in this solicitation. Specifically, a prospective offeror must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan andmust fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the resultingcontract.In addition, prior to award of the contract, offerors must be registered with the Government of Japan to do work in Japan and possess necessary licenses and permits to perform work required under thissolicitation. PROJECT INFORMATION: Professional services to conduct an environmental impact analysis process in accordance with Executive Order 12114, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work, to determine the potential impacts to significant environmental resources for a proposed industrial park to be constructed at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Instructions for CCR registration are available at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. The solicitation will be issued on or about 19 July 2010. SOLICITATION INFORMATION: Solicitation documents will be posted in a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site for interested parties to download. When the solicitation is ready to be issued, the Government will provide the web address of the FTP site to applicants who indicate their interest.
