- Description
- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing ten (10) riser pipe grade control structures in Issaquena and Washington Counties, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, backfill, embankment, miscellaneous items, control of water, engineering fabric, stone protection, corrugated metal pipe, erosion control, lime treatment, welding, concrete work, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitation. Issue date on or about 30 July 2010. Bid opening date on or about 02 Sep 2010, 1400 Hours. This procurement is a competitive 8(a) Set-Aside and is restricted to 8(a) BD participants serviced by the Mississippi District Office, Small Business Administration) and other 8(a) construction firms with a bona fide place of business in Mississippi, and is issued under NAICS Code 237990.
