- Please note that this is neither a request for quotes nor a request for proposals. The government is seeking information for market research purposes only and may or may not issue solicitation documents associated with this announcement. VANCHCS is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing 20 Telemedicine Cart systems with video conferencing capability and close-up clinical quality video for diagnostic purposes. These 20 carts require compatibility with current Tandberg video conferencing systems currently in place at VANCHCS as well as the need for a clinician to take close live clinical video with diagnostic quality of a patient for review at another remote site where the clinical specialist will be performing the diagnoses. On-site installation/training at the main campus is required by the vendor as well as at least remote in-service training at remote clinics. Extra clinical exam camera and chest stethoscope unit required. Applicable NACIS code is 334419 size standard 500. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to the requirements by submitting literature and documentation, detailing their experience in providing these products. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to carol.lam@va.gov and received no later than July 20, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. It is not the intent of the VANCHCS to reimburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this source sought.
