- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest CustomerService Region (DSW) intends to issue a contract on a sole-source basis to JEI under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1) only one responsible source to provide a voice recorder compatible with current ROLM telephone switch. NAICS 238210. The basis for the sole source award to JEI is outlined in the Single Source Justification attached below labeled "JOFOC draft JEI Voice Recorder". All responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses are due July 20, 2010 by 10:00 AM local time to Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, P.O.
