- Description
- Synopsis: The NRCS Contracting Office, 3001 Coolidge, E. Lansing, MI 48823-6321 intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Giddings Machine Company for the purchase of Soil Coring/Sampling Equipment#25/Model HDGSRPST. This model is the only equipment that provides all of the specialty requirements and is in use and highly recommended by other NRCS throughout the country. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 12:00 pm CST, 23 July 2010 via email or fax at (517) 324-5287. A determination by the Government not to compete the service based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source award. The cancellation notice will be posted on FedBizOps. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the government.
