- Background Information and Brand Name or Equal Justification The U.S Department of Education (ED) intends to purchase fifty (50) licenses of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Software Upgrade Part Number 65059545 and one (1) year (12 month) Software Maintenance. See the attached Background Information and Brand name or Equal Description. The period of performance for this requirement is for a 12-month base period starting 7/31/10 through 7/30/11, and four option consecutive 12-months option periods. Parties interested in submitting a quote in response to this RFQ may do so, and must provide a firm fixed price the base period and each option period. Interested sources must submit information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than July 20, 2010 at 2 PM, E.S.T. All quotes must be submitted electronically to the attention of Chontelle.Grey@ed.gov, Contract Specialist (Contract Operations Group), with a concurrent copy to Linda.Riley@ed.gov, Contract Officer (Contract Operations Group). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 will be used. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Department of Education, OCIO, c/o Kevin Conlon, 550 12th Street, SW, Suite 9065, Washington, DC 20202. The resulting purchase order shall be awarded based on technical acceptability and price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a company letterhead. Quotations shall include RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any applicable credit or trade in, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contract, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). Offer must be valid for 30 calendar days after submission. If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due July 20, 2010 at 2:00pm, EST.
