- Description
- This project at Crater Lake National Park, Klamath County, Oregon requires the Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and services as needed to remove the existing water line and construct approximately 800 feet of six-inch water line with all its associated fittings and valves as well as the replacement of one existing fire hydrant and the relocation of another existing fire hydrant as indicated in the approved plan set. The water line construction includes the pipe, valves, valve risers, fittings, thrust blocking, excavation, backfill, compaction, surface repair, temporary water bi-pass if needed, labor, disinfection, testing, removal of construction waste, and rehabilitation of any damaged terrain resulting from the installation. The total project range is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. Work shall be completed by October 29, 2010. The site is not available for inspection without a Government escort. A site visit will be arranged by the Park Facility Manager. This will be the only opportunity to view the existing conditions prior to an award. The RFP (and associated attachments) will be available for download on or about July 29, 2010 by electronic means only at http://www.fbo.gov or directly from the Department of Interior site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The RFP will close 30 days from the actual date of issuance. Contractors are responsible for periodically checking the site for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date. This acquisition is Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns under NAICS Code of 237110.
