- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912MM-10-T-0100 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339950 with a small business size of 500 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. In the event that adequate response to fill requirements is not received from small business firm(s), large business firms may be considered for the award. The solicitation pricing on FedBizOps will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 19 July 2010 4:00 pm MT or as otherwise displayed on FedBizOps. The specifications are as follows: Item: Outdoor full color single face 20 mm LED message display Specifications: "310 x 710 x 8 cabinet "Multi-color LED "5.5 (7 pixel font) "20mm line spacing, 230 pixels/square foot "1 red, 1 green, 1 blue pixel configuration "68 billion colors "48 lines, 112 columns "Minimum viewing distance of 45 "100,000 hrs of estimated LED "90 degree horizontal and 40 degree vertical viewing angle "120 degree horizontal and 50 degree vertical readability angle "Non-reflective black louvers for contrast enhancement "Front ventilated single cabinet configuration "Graphic capability of text, graphics, logos, basic animation, multiple font styles and sizes "64 levels of display dimming "Fiber Ethernet ***NOTE***Vendor shall quote price for one display, removal of existing display, installation and required training for new display and software. Installation includes aesthetic tin/metal work to properly frame new display in existing display opening. Include trade-in value of old display in the quote. Additionally, vendor shall include warranty information and delivery ETA. Quotes are to be FOB destination. Include shipping costs if any in the price of the item or items you are quoting. If you fail to include the shipping cost in the item(s) cost your quote may be determined nonresponsive. Shipping Point is: 2823 W.
