- Description
- The Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna, PA (DDSP) has a requirement to establish an indefinite delivery requirements contract to provide laboratory analysis services on contaminated/non-contaminated ground water, drinking water, hazardous wastes, PCB’s, bulk samples and air monitoring cassettes for asbestos. Due to the periodic rush turnaround time requiring results to be provided within 8 to 24 hours, the contractor will be required to be within a 50 mile radius of the New Cumberland, PA site or the contractor will need to provide evidence in its offer that they will be able to meet the rush turnaround times. Contract period shall be for one (1) year base period with two (2) one year option periods as follows: 01 September 2010 through 31 August 2011 – Base Year 01 September 2011 through 31 August 2012 – Option Year 1 01 September 2012 through 31 August 2013 – Option Year 2 This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541380 and the size standard is $14,000,000.00. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. The Government will make payment for all laboratory services ordered under any resultant contract via credit card. Therefore, to be considered for award, the Contractor must be capable of accepting payment via the Government (VISA) Purchase Card. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to the responsible offer based on the lowest price/technically acceptable source selection process with the overall lowest price for all CLINS (including base year and two (2) option years). It is anticipated that RFP SP3300-10-R-0041 will be posted to this site on or around July 27, 2010. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under this RFP. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award.
