- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to make notice of a proposed contract action for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Regional Rigid Pavement, Concrete work, Pavement marking and incident work related to Airfield Standards to existing and new locations on and throughout the Hampton Roads area, Virginia. The work includes, but is not limited to: All labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide various types of construction maintenance for rigid paving, concrete work, pavement markings, and incidental work related to road and airfield standards. The contract term will be a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. NAICS Code: 237310; Annual Size Standard: $33.5M Competition Requirements: Full and Open Competition Procurement Method: Source Selection Type of Contract: Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity The total estimated cost for this contract (base year plus all option years) is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded to T. J. Crooks Inc. in 2007 for a Not to Exceed (NTE) amount of $7, 672,871.00 for the base period of (1) year plus two (2) option years. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about the month of August 2010.
