- Description
- The U.S. Forest Service has a requirement for repaving located at the Lake Powhatan Campground located on the Pisgah Ranger District in Buncombe County, North Carolina. The successful contractor will provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all road reconstruction. The solicitation will be a low price technically acceptable procurement. Past performance, experience and price will be evaluation factors considered in the selection of the successful contractor. The size standard for this unrestricted solicitation, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, is $33.5 million under NAICS code 237310. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation should be available on this website on or about July 27, 2010. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the site on July 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Details will be included in the solicitation. Contractors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend the pre-bid meeting. Contractors must register on this site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The contractor is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
