- Area Studies Guest Lectures The Area Studies Division is seeking qualified individuals to lecture on the subjects listed below in programs offered by the Area Studies Division. Each lecture including discussion time will run from two to three hours. As indicated below, in some cases a single lecturer is expected to speak on two paired topics, one in the morning and one in the afternoon during. Typically, these lectures are required 5-6 times a year. However, the number of times a given subject will be needed and the dates of individual presentations are not fixed.
