The drawing is source controlled and is restricted to approved source of supplies Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US Inc. Cage 09257. Their part number is S34273 and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation Cage 05939. Their part number is 060004196. Requirements are 244 Each, Seal Assembly. FOB is Destination. For use on the M1A1 Tank. Estimated issue date is 04 Aug 2010. Offers from concerns other than these sources are not solicited. Published for subcontracting purposes only. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
