- Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding a sole source procurement to Tampa LightHouse for the Blind to provide Adaptive Technology services on software programs that are currently used by VA employees who are using the Job Access with Speech (JAWS) screen reading program at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System Medical Center, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida 33744. This requirement is being solicited under NAICS 541519 with a Small Business Size Standard $25.0 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The proposed contract award for services to only one source is authorized by the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The anticipated award date is on or before August 1, 2010.
